What Are Nova H1 Audio Earrings?
A fresh conspiracy theory is making waves on the internet, suggesting that Vice President Kamala Harris was wearing Nova H1 Audio Earrings during her recent debate with Donald Trump. The debate National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on September 10, has sparked speculation about the use of these high-tech earrings for covert communication.
The Nova H1 Audio Earrings, developed by the German startup NOVA Products, were designed to be Bluetooth-enabled devices that project sound directly into the ear canal. According to their Kickstarter page, the earrings feature “two tiny high-end microphones” that provide clear phone calls and cancel out wind noise. The product’s promotional material highlights its “directional sound,” which ensures that audio remains private, so only the wearer hears the conversations or music.
While video footage from the debate shows Harris wearing what appear to be pearl earrings, some social media users have noted their resemblance to the Nova H1 earrings. Comparisons have also been drawn to Tiffany & Co.’s Double Pearl Hinged Earrings, further fueling the speculation.
This theory is not the first of its kind. During the 2016 presidential campaign, similar claims were made about Hillary Clinton allegedly wearing a hidden earpiece during the Commander-in-Chief Forum. Fact-checkers PolitiFact and Snopes debunked these claims, finding no evidence of an earpiece.
Similarly, during the 2020 election, rumors circulated that President Joe Biden used a hidden earpiece during his debate with Donald Trump. The Biden campaign dismissed these claims as “completely absurd,” and the Commission on Presidential Debates confirmed that no earpieces were allowed.
