The War on Transgender Ideology, and the Indoctrination of Children

So, recently president Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in the sports of their claimed gender. Now, this executive order was especially a victory for biological women who will not have to compete with biological men parading themselves as women in sports. Now, addressing transgender ideology in sports is certainly a massive win (it represents a cultural and legal shift towards the explicit rejection of moral decadence). However, addressing this on the sports level is only one part, because what transgender ideology has become about (at large) is the indoctrination of children (by both the state and – unfortunately – their parents); and we ought to address this further.

And now onto our main discussion regarding the war on transgender ideology, and the indoctrination of children, and first we ought to recognise that this discussion takes place against the backdrop of significant developments in destroying the works that attempted to normalise transgender lunacy. We alluded to the fact that president Trump signed an executive order early February – meant to keep biological men out of women’s sports through Title IX — pressuring schools to comply with the mandate by threatening to pull federal funds. The order specifically directs the Education Department to “take all appropriate action to affirmatively protect all-female athletic opportunities and all-female locker rooms” and make clear “that women’s sports are reserved for women” and settle outstanding lawsuits in a manner “consistent with this policy.” The Department of Homeland Security has also been directed to deny visas “made by men attempting to fraudulently enter the United States while identifying themselves as women athletes,” according to Trump, who will be president at the time of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
DEVELOPMENT: TODDLER GENDER TRANSITION SPARKS HEATED ONLINE DEBATE
Well, while the intersection of transgender ideology and sports has been a significant focus, there has been another concerning development regarding the indoctrination of children. In particular, X has been abuzz with discussions regarding a mother allegedly transitioning her 14-month-old child, identified as Bella, from male to female. The discussions express strong opinions, with many labeling the act as child abuse. The broader conversation also touches on ethical, psychological, and medical considerations around so-called “gender transition”. And here’s the mother and child in question.
TRANSGENDERISM ADVOCATES IGNORE THE ARGUMENT OF A LACK OF CHILD CONSENT
It’s difficult to imagine that this is in any way not a horrible misrepresentation of the facts; nothing about this is normal – so much so, that even if this was a tone deaf plot to gather more social media attention, it truly is in bad taste, because it has the capacity if supporting lunacy that places the best interests of children at risk. In any case, let’s address what is wrong about this.
First, transgender advocates always seem to ignore the argument of child consent. They will jump logical and scientific hurdles to claim that children experience gender dysphoria, but they have not provided a strong or reasonable argument for how children (and not toddlers) are not only able to experience gender dysphoria, but how they are able to give informed consent to the irreversible harms that come with so-called gender transition and castration. The reason they cannot make these arguments is firstly because there is no such thing as gender dysphoria – there literally is no scientific basis for it AT ALL! RATHER, where it comes from is the intercession of what is supposed to be credible medical science and social politics, meaning that it is the product of medical science being heavily influenced by pressure from those lobbying to make sectors of society bend towards political correctness and the LGBT agenda – thus leading to social contagion!
THERE IS NO GENDER DYSPHORIA, THERE IS UNDERLYING MENTAL ILLNESS THAT ARE IGNORED
Secondly, not only is there no gender dysphoria, but the actual mental illnesses that children are struggling with are being ignored, in order to justify the claim of gender dysphoria. There was even a trend (especially among medical professionals) of not questioning the unstable nature of gender dysphoria claims, and rather affirming the so-called transgender children, in the name of compassion. But, Vivek Ramaswamy correctly stated that that trend was based on a false dichotomy, that resulted in the assumption that compassion can only come with affirming gender dysphoria claims.
TRANSGENDERISM ADVOCATES IGNORE THE ARGUMENT OF A LACK OF CHILD CONSENT
The second reason there is no credible argument from transgenderism advocates on the consent of children is because it is absolutely impossible to make this argument, without inventing laws to assert the consent of children (like they have done – especially with respect to vaccines, as we’ve previously discussed). Now, notably, children who have developed the ability to use language and speech express their desires and discomforts have already been the centre of controversy, because of the understanding that children inherently do not have the maturity to understand gender, but this incapacity for informed consent is especially important to highlight with respect to toddlers who are still developing the ability to use speech to communicate.
In light of this, there is general consensus that children are not regarded as fully mature beings who are capable of complete expression or legal consent. The reason for this is that children, in all that they progressively learn, do not always fully appreciate the complex concepts (which is why complex concepts are simplified and taught at their level of understanding), and they are also not fully able to appreciate the consequences of actions, even when they are taught those actions are wrong or right (that’s why a child will try to touch the flame even after you tell them it will hurt them). So, generally, we have this understanding in society, it’s part of the reason why five year olds do not drive, or why children do not have legal standing to represent themselves in court, or even why it is considered negligent for an adult to leave a child alone near a large body of water. And so, what is claimed to be intuitive knowledge from a child when they claim to be “mis-gendered” can not be regarded as an objective fact – especially if that child is a toddler. And there are children now expressing the fact that they were failed as children when they were allowed to make a permanent decision based on temporary feelings.
THE CLAIMED TRANSGNEDER TODDLER IS REVEALING OF A SLIPPERY SLOPE
In addition, this discussion on the claimed transgender toddler reveals a dangerous slippery slope that we generally see with liberal politics and pursuits. The basis of the slippery slope is that the advocacy started as being focused on consenting adults. Then it targeted young adults and teenagers quite significantly (we especially saw this with places of higher learning becoming incubation hubs for liberal politics and woke gender ideology). Then it was younger children, until now we are seeing even toddlers being co-opted into this satanic agenda. All of this is to say that when you give the devil room: he is bever satisfied with the little he has, he always wants more. In fact, we see this propensity for slippery slopes in liberal politics and pursuits with transgenderism itself! It is also a product of a slippery slope: it started with feminists who argued that men and women were equal; then they said there were no significant differences between men and women, until men could apparently also become women (and vice versa).
THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN TRANSGENDERISM AND PARENTAL RIGHTS
Which then brings us to the argument of choice, because what transgenderism advocates tend to come down to is making the argument that parents have a right to make choices regarding the lives of their children. This is important to discuss because it brings to focus an intersection between transgenderism and parental rights.
Parental rights manifest in two ways in this discussion: on the one hand the state tries to erode parental rights in order to transition children. Either states like California create laws that allow schools to support the transition of so-called transgender minors without the knowledge of the parents, OR parents are hamstrung and lied to about the suicidality of children in order for them to support transitioning their children. In fact, one parent who experienced this manipulation was Elon Musk, and he recently spoke about the experience of the corruption of his son, Xavier, by the woke mind virus. But, what is especially notable in his experience is that he ALSO was coerced into signing documents for his son’s treatment, without being told the full extent of what the puberty blockers would do to his son; AND was threatened wit the claim that his son would apparently commit suicide if he opted to do otherwise as a parent.
Then on the other hand we also unfortunately see parents who abuse their children parade them as transgender – not because they were completely coerced to, but because it has become a sort of currency in the world economy to have a transgender child whose confusion you affirm.
So, the typical argument made is that of choice, which is that parents have a right to choose the affairs of their children. Well, yes, but within the scope of what amounts to the best interests of that child. For instance, Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”. This verse outlines the role of parents and guardians to train children, but it also highlights that there is a definite way that the child should go, which guides what the parent or guardian should teach the child.
Secondly, I conceded that choice is an inalienable right, but that applies to the choice of adults who are capable of informed consent. Parents cannot transfer informed consent on children when it comes to harmful decisions. For instance, a parent of legal drinking age cannot transfer the legal drinking age to a minor. And so, parents are abusing their freedom of choice through applying it to children.
THERE ARE ALSO SIGNIFICANT HARMS POSED ON CHILDREN THROUGH “TRANSITIONS”
But, now there are also serious concerns on the interventions used to transition children, including bone mineralisation and long-term cognitive effects. 98 percent of children starting puberty blockers go on to take opposite-sex hormones, and a very significant proportion of those go on to have surgery. They are being started on a pathway which is highly likely to be irreversible. Once you start them on that path, it creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.” Bell also noted that “autism, depression, family trauma or sexuality” are not considered as factors which goes “completely against the Cass recommendations”.
