Los Angeles Fires – LN24

Multiple wildfires have broken out across Los Angeles since Tuesday, killing at least 11 people, forcing tens of thousands to evacuate and leaving more than 190,000 customers in California without power. Decades of woke green agenda rackets, mismanaged resources, and climate theatrics have left California unprepared for this scale of disaster. The globalist elites who run the state are more concerned with virtue signalling than investing in fire prevention or infrastructure. The same crowd that pushes carbon credits for private jets can’t seem to manage basic emergency services.
LA mayor cut fire department budget by $49 million shortly before wildfires, reports say
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass demanded an additional $49 million cut less than a week before massive wildfires engulfed the city. The Daily Mail reported this, citing a leaked memo dated January 6 that also revealed that the extra reduction would have shut down 16 fire stations and upset the department’s ability to respond to emergencies. The mayor who flew to Ghana for a presidential inauguration while her community dealt with smoke is the same leader who slashed the fire department’s budget by $17.6 million. She diverted those funds to diversity programs that do nothing to extinguish fires or assist residents in crisis. Bass cut the $17.6 million from the fire department’s budget despite California’s wildfire risks, citing “tough budgetary times.” Instead, she allocated funding to progressive initiatives, such as:

$100,000 for the “Midnight Stroll Transgender Cafe” for unsheltered transgender individuals
$100,000 for the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) Awards
$8,670 for the “One Institute the International Gay and Lesbian Archives”
$13,000 for “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Heritage Month Programs”
$14,010 to the “Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles”
$170,000 for “Social Justice Art-Worker Investments”

Meanwhile, the LAFD’s 2023–2026 strategic plan emphasized diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a key goal, with fire chief Kristin F. Crowley prioritizing a DEI-centred culture.
Bass seems more interested in showcasing her values internationally than addressing the emergencies in her own city. As Los Angeles suffers under poor leadership, the so-called “woke mind virus” infects what little remains of effective governance. Firefighters confront dire shortages, while the city wastes billions on ineffective bureaucratic measures. Officials prioritise appearances over essential services, leaving citizens to fend for themselves amid disasters. This situation reflects a broader decay. Western leaders fixate on climate change and social justice while neglecting necessary disaster preparedness. Let’s address the obvious issue: this is globalist policy at work. Cities like Los Angeles are intended to showcase neoliberal ideals, but instead, they highlight severe shortcomings. Leaders focus on their own jobs rather than community needs, leaving residents overwhelmed by pollution and empty promises. The crisis is both actual and symbolic. Unless cities like Los Angeles change direction, the “woke mind virus” will destroy their dignity, safety, and independence. The key takeaway is simple: hashtags and virtue-signalling cannot run a city.
Mel Gibson Questions California Fires: “Was There a Plan?”
Actor Mel Gibson, who lost his Los Angeles home, has voiced suspicions about the devastating California wildfires, questioning whether they are purely natural disasters or something more orchestrated. Like many and rightly so, he asked the pertinent questions; was there a plan? And what kind of plan? Maybe they wanted the state to be empty.”
Total Economic Loss from the California Fires
Estimates for insured losses from these wildfires range significantly. Early estimates pegged insured losses at around $10 billion, but as the fires have continued to spread, these estimates have been revised upwards. Analysts from JPMorgan have suggested that insured losses could exceed $20 billion, potentially making this event one of the costliest in California’s history. The total economic impact, including insured losses, uninsured losses, and other indirect costs, has been estimated to be much higher. AccuWeather initially estimated the total damage and economic loss to be between $52 billion and $57 billion but later revised this estimate to a range of $135 billion to $150 billion due to the extensive spread and the value of properties affected. This would represent nearly 4 percent of California’s annual GDP, highlighting the severe economic toll of these wildfires. More than 10,000 structures, including homes and businesses, have been reported as destroyed or damaged by these wildfires. The destruction of homes and businesses has led to immediate losses in property values. In areas like Los Angeles, where median home values are significantly high, the loss of expensive real estate has a direct impact. This not only affects residents but also the real estate market, with insurers potentially withdrawing or hiking premiums, making it more challenging for recovery and rebuilding efforts. The fires have severely impacted tourism, a vital component of California’s economy, especially in regions like wine country and coastal areas. The immediate aftermath saw a drop in tourist visits due to evacuations, road closures, and poor air quality, leading to losses in hospitality, dining, and entertainment industries. The perception of risk might also deter future visitors, affecting long-term recovery. While there is often a short-term increase in construction jobs for rebuilding, the initial impact includes job losses in sectors directly affected by the fires (like hospitality, tourism, and local businesses). The loss of income for many residents can lead to decreased spending, affecting local businesses further. However, over time, the rebuilding process might stimulate some sectors like construction and professional services. Businesses have faced disruptions from power outages, road closures, and direct damage to infrastructure, leading to immediate economic losses. The recovery phase might see some economic activity due to reconstruction, but the initial impact includes lost productivity and revenue, particularly for small businesses without the capacity to operate remotely or recover quickly.
Los Angeles prioritized Free Health for Migrants
As we analyse California’s failed wildfire efforts over the past five years, remember that Gov. Gavin Newsom is a graduate of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders program. Governor Newsom cut $100 million in fire prevention spending this year. all while allocating $3 BILLION DOLLARS on free healthcare for illegal immigrants.
Los Angeles is a C40 city
Did you know that Los Angeles is a C40 city? A C40 City is a member of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, a global network of cities committed to addressing climate change. The common theme with these cities is that they will be wrecked by natural disasters such as floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornados or any other event. Only then can they be built up again to be turned into open air prisons.
L.A Fires: The C40 Smart City Vision and Urban Transformation
There is a growing realization that California’s crises aren’t mere accidents of nature, they’re the inevitable result of the globalist green agenda racket. Under the banner of “climate justice,” government officials and influential elites have undermined effective forest management and poorly managed vital water resources. They allow their ideological beliefs to overshadow the urgent need to protect both the environment and the people who depend on it. This situation raises troubling questions about the true intentions behind these policies. It appears that the aim may not be to save California. Instead, there seems to be a plan to dismantle its core—turning the state into a hollow shell. This sacrifice seems to serve a broader agenda that values ideology over tangible results. As a result, the very forests that are essential to California’s ecosystem are left vulnerable, while the state’s residents suffer from misguided policies that prioritize political correctness over practical solutions.
C40 Cities are about Global Control
Los Angeles is among many cities whose leaders have joined the global C40 Cities initiative. This initiative serves as a cover for promoting the United Nations and global elites’ agenda to reshape urban areas, claiming to fight against the so-called “climate change” crisis. Disguised in grand language, this movement aims to tackle environmental problems while altering city life to fit a misguided vision. Remarkably, cities worldwide are signing up for this initiative, raising concerns about who is really making these choices and whether they truly serve the public interest. So, in these cities, they’re moving the people out to make way for those smart cities. This movement, involving cities from every corner of the globe, raises serious questions about the true motives behind such international collaborations, suggesting a broader agenda of control rather than genuine environmental concern. Its not a conspiracy theory. There is a conspiracy.
