Global Communion Service Highlights: Pastor Chris Declares September the ‘Month of Coordination’

The first Sunday of September marked a powerful and prophetic moment for believers around the world as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc. DSc. DD led the Global Communion Service, declaring September 2025 as the Month of Coordination.
Broadcast live to a global audience, the service delivered strong spiritual insights and clear direction for the Body of Christ as the year’s final quarter begins.
Drawing from John 4:34, Pastor Chris reminded the church of Jesus’ mission  to do the will of the Father and to finish it.

“Jesus began the work. The apostles continued. But this generation has been called to finish it,” Pastor Chris declared.

Referencing Acts 20:24 and 2 Timothy 4:7, Pastor Chris emphasized the importance of finishing one’s God-given assignment with focus and joy, undeterred by distractions or opposition.

“When you put your faith to work, even when you’re weak in your body, and the crusade still happens that’s when you can truly say, ‘I have finished my course.’”

A Time to Coordinate
The prophetic word for the month is “Coordination”  a divine call to harmonize efforts, organize the church, and integrate soul-winning activities with precision and purpose.

Coordination is:– The regulation of diverse elements into an integrated and harmonious operation.– The process of organizing people or groups so they work together properly and well.– The harmonious functioning of parts for effective results.

Key scriptures included John 6:12–13, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Mark 16:20, and 1 Corinthians 3:9, highlighting God’s intention for the church to gather what has been won, so that nothing is lost.

“We are co-laborers with Christ. We are not alone. The Lord is working with us guiding, empowering, and coordinating our efforts,” Pastor Chris affirmed.

Teaching the Gospel: The Next Phase
Pastor Chris revealed that the Church is entering a new dimension of the Great Commission a season marked not only by preaching but by teaching the gospel at an unprecedented scale.

“It’s not just about preaching anymore. Now, we’re entering into massive teaching outreaches explaining the gospel and showing believers how to live the life of Christ.”

This new phase includes equipping believers to teach others how to live the Christian life — to understand eternal life, the Kingdom of God, and the essentials of the gospel.
 “God Is Trusting You”
Concluding the service, Pastor Chris called on believers to rise to the occasion:

“God is trusting you with this mandate. Don’t just start strong finish strong. This is the time to organize, mobilize, and coordinate for maximum impact.”

With the help of the Holy Spirit, the church is set to move into a greater dimension of fruitfulness, purpose, and victory in the final quarter of 2025.
